Session Fees

$175 for 50 minute individual, couple or family session.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment otherwise you will be responsible for the fee of your session.

Session Location

I offer both online and in-person sessions to California residents. I use Simple Practice, a secure HIPPA compliant platform for scheduling, messaging, updating payment info, and more.
For video sessions, we’ll meet on Doxy.me.
For in-person session, we’ll meet at one of the offices.

Insurance

As an out of network provider, I do not bill your insurance directly. Depending on your insurance plan, you may receive partial reimbursement for your treatment. I can provide you with a “superbill” (aka invoice) to submit to your insurance company.
I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking the following questions:

  • Does my plan provide out of network benefits for mental health services?

  • What percentage of the fee does my plan cover?

  • Is there a deductible I have to meet prior to receiving reimbursement?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered in a calendar year?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Free Consultation

I offer a free, 15-minute phone or video consultation.
Consultations help you determine if I’d be a good fit for you and your needs.

 FAQs

    • Reasons why you are seeking therapy at this time.

    • If you have had therapy before or if this is your first time.

    • How I can help you with my approach.

    • Answering questions about fees and availability.

  • It depends. The length in treatment is dependent on the individual and the case provided. Generally, treatment ends when all therapeutic goals have been met or if client has decided to take steps toward termination.

  • No I do not.

  • Healing is not linear. Change can be slow and gradual as it takes time to shift from detrimental patterns. However, with consistent therapy, you may find that therapy is beneficial as you find yourself with greater self-awareness and a sense of a more balanced emotional well-being. Ideally, you may feel more content with the circumstances in your life. I recommend weekly sessions (if time and finances permit).

  • About the A…
I am a registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. This means that I’ve completed my Master’s degrees, have been practicing for a couple of years, but I’m still completing the required hours for licensure.

    About the MFT…
Marriage and Family Therapists can treat more than just married folks and families. Unlike other mental health professionals, MFTs are specifically required to complete hours with children, families, and/or couples in order to be licensed.
